This Half Term, Blue Reef Aquarium are offering you two exciting adventures! Over two days, the 25th and 26th of October, you can come face to face with a Mermaid and a Dinosaur!

A breath-taking real life ‘mermaid’ is returning to Blue Reef Aquarium this October half term.

On Wednesday October 25th visitors can take part in a meet and greet with Mermaid Anna, a mythical and magical interactive character.

Anna last swam ashore in August to meet guests at the Rock-a-Nore Road attraction and has been welcomed back after proving popular.

As well as taking ‘shellfies’ with Mermaid Anna, guests can also learn about ocean conservation and, as part of the fun, a mermaid themed trail will also be taking place around the aquarium.

Then on October 26th....

A huge Tyrannosaurus Rex is set to descend on Blue Reef Aquarium this October half term.

On Thursday 26th October guests to the Rock-a-Nore Road attraction will be able to get up close and personal with the beast between 10am and 3pm.

The impressive four metre animatronic dinosaur, known as Pete, will also be bringing a selection of baby dinos – Rita, Bob and Alan.

The dino crèche features Alan the lazy Velociraptor, Bob the new-born Triceratops and Rita the baby T Rex.

Pete will be walking around the attraction during 20 minute sessions and will be available for photos with visitors all day.
