The team meets every Tuesday to improve sites around The National Forest.
Learn to build dry stone walls, thin woodland, care for rare lowland heathland, keep footpaths accessible and get "stuck in" managing ponds!
Conservation volunteering, as well as improving your local area, is known to improve your health and wellbeing - and the team is very friendly and relaxed. This is a great way to learn transferable skills such as teamwork and leadership, or simply to meet likeminded people and have a natter!
They offer full training, provide tools, tea and biscuits and a free pick up service from Moira, Ashby and Coalville.
