Find out about the historic Dock Office building where Brunel designed and built the ss Great Britain.
The Dock Office building has beeen restored through recent structural work generously funded by AIM Biffa Award as part of the Heritage Landmarks Scheme. When the new national Brunel museum opens in early 2018, visitors will see the Dock Office as Brunel did and join in one of the most important debates of the great engineer’s career. These tours offer a look at work in progress. You will be taken through the empty interiors of the building and hear about its history and plans.
The talks are 25 minutes and are held on various dates from now until 4th March.
