This year, Birmingham Literature Festival turns 20.
From a tiny series of events back in 1998, the festival is now week-long book bonanza in October every year which takes over the city of Birmingham, which celebrates great writers, performers, thinkers and speakers.
This year, the festival runs 7-15 October 2017.
They’re delighted that Virgin Trains has joined as headline sponsor this year, as they too are celebrating their 20th anniversary.
