Treat mum this Mothering Sunday, not only will she be able to take a seat and travel along the line being pulled by a world famous steam locomotive but she will also get the chance to drive the train! Mums ‘Drive a Train’ takes place at New Romney Station where she can take control of the regulator and take the locomotive to the outer station limits- under the watchful eye and guidance of one of our experienced drivers.

'One Year in 900'
The Queen’s Room and Queen's Bathroom in the Castle will display a new photography exhibition, showcasing stunning landscape images of the 900 year old building from angles rarely seen by day visitors. Sarah Medway has collaborated with many varied and interesting clients including The Discovery Channel and last year was commissioned by Leeds Castle to take pictures of the Castle and grounds over the course of a year, capturing the seasons and weather. Sarah’s work is held in private collections and Sarah has exhibited in central London at The Mall Galleries, OXO Gallery and throughout the south east England. In 2009 she won the Kent Wildlife Trust Photographer of the Year award and her work has also appeared on the front cover of Coast Magazine and also in BBC Countryfile magazine, Surrey Life, TGO - The Great Outdoors and various other publications and books.
