The National Memorial Arboretum’s Armed Forces Day celebrations will be bigger and better than ever in 2018 with activities spread across two days.
A cinematic event not to be missed! Visit the National Memorial Arboretum on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 July for special evening showings of two fantastic films; the 1990 classic Pretty Woman and the 2017 Academy Award nominated, Darkest Hour.
This half-term, take inspiration from the International Garden Photographer of the Year exhibition in the Fusion Gallery, alongside Jackfield Tile Museum, then decorate a tile with beautiful flowers or a peaceful garden. The fun and informal ‘Create Colour’ tile decorating workshops will be take place Monday to Friday during the school holiday.
Come to Blists Hill Victorian Town over the spring half-term and discover more about the Victorian’s love of purple and why it became so fashionable. Dress up in Victorian costume and take a selfie, print a poster and follow a Town trail.
Come along to Coalport China Museum during the May half-term and join family workshops to paint or sculpt colourful flowers and gardens.
